To this end, rigorous recruitment and selection procedures are in place to ensure that only competent and appropriate staff are appointed. These staff, once through their formal face-to-face interview, attend a mandatory systematic induction programme, during which they receive the opportunities for training and development.

Furthermore, because staff normally work independently, MAC CARE provide a formal framework of supervision that supports staff in their role (throughout their career lives with us), enabling them to work confidently in the service users own home, ward or other locale.
